London Nightlife: What to Expect in 2026

London nightlife in 2026 is split. On one side, large-scale venues like Drumsheds and Printworks continue to pull major bookings. On the other, independent clubs are under pressure from rising rents and noise complaints from new residential developments, the situation that ultimately closed Corsica Studios this month.

The Mayor of London's Nightlife Taskforce published a 59-page report in January recommending a permanent Nightlife Commission with statutory powers, changes to licensing law, and a shift from zero-tolerance drug policy to a harm-reduction model. Whether those recommendations get implemented is the question the scene is watching.

In the meantime, the calendar is full. GALA, Field Day, Body Movements, Maiden Voyage, and a string of outdoor summer events make 2026 one of the stronger years for London dance music, even with the closures.

These are the standout London festivals coming up over the next few months. Book early. Several sold out last year.

London Events 2026: May

FIeld Day
🗓 🗓 Sat, 23 May | 📍Brockwell Park
🎫 Tickets
Field Day moves to Brockwell Park this summer and the lineup lands exactly where London's crowd lives right now. Floating Points plays live. Joy Orbison, Honey Dijon, Interplanetary Criminal, Andy C with a jungle set. Four stages worth of genuine range, not just genre padding. This is an outdoor day that actually earns the hype.

GALA ‘26
🗓 Fri 22 — Sun 24 May | 📍Peckham Rye Par
🎫 Tickets Here
GALA's theme this year is The Floor Is Ours, a direct statement against the commercial creep into dance culture, and the lineup backs it up. Three days with Giggs headlining Friday alongside Mala, Or:la, and a Benji B Deviation takeover. Saturday stretches across DJ Seinfeld, Logic1000, Midland, and Saoirse. It's the independent South London festival doing exactly what it should.
