Welcome to No Skips. A Guy Called Gerald brings a live jungle set to Palais, Deep Dish reunite at fabric, and Junction 2 returns to Boston Manor Park for round two of its tenth anniversary weekend. Here's a glimpse of what's on this week and what's ahead.

A Guy Called Gerald helped build jungle from the ground up, and this live set taps straight back into that raw acid house to breakbeat lineage. Tim Reaper brings his high speed modern take and Chinese Daughter locks in sharp, uncompromising selections. Three generations of jungle under one roof.

Deep Dish reunite for a rare full session together, and Dubfire and Sharam still know how to hold a room without rushing it. Agoria fills out the night with warmer, more textured house. A proper reunion set worth building your Friday around.

Junction 2: Mall Grab, Effy, Ross From Friends

Junction 2's tenth anniversary run gets a second weekend, and this time the bill leans younger and looser. Mall Grab and Effy bring the energy, Ross From Friends closes it out with something more melodic. Same festival scale, different crowd to last weekend.

Resistance London

Resistance marks ten years with its first ever standalone multi-day takeover in Europe, and Drumsheds is hosting the whole thing. Friday runs ARTBAT, Mathame and Miss Monique, Saturday hands the room to Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto and Reinier Zonneveld. Two nights, one of the biggest techno bills London sees this year.

Chase & Status, J Hus, IRAH — "Disgruntled"
(Warner Records, out 24 July)
Chase & Status reunite with IRAH for the first time since 2023's Baddadan, and this time J Hus joins for the ride. Rumbling drums, street energy and a hook built for a rave rather than a radio edit. This is the one that'll be everywhere by September.

Tottenham gets a new independent listening space
Ten87 Studios has opened radial, a 250-capacity room near Seven Sisters built around a custom ten-point sound system. It's Arts Council funded, and its first event lands this Friday. Proof that new rooms are still opening even as bigger ones struggle.

Blue Note is bringing its first UK club to Covent Garden
The legendary New York jazz brand opens inside the St Martins Lane hotel this September, after winning a licence fight last year despite objections from residents and the police. Not dance music, but another sign London's night economy still has fight left in it.
