What's On: Purple Disco Machine

Welcome to No Skips. Autumn starts properly this weekend. Kolter plays his biggest London all dayer at The Cause on Saturday, Steppers make their Drumsheds debut the same day, and Kölsch opens the weekend at fabric on Friday. Here's a glimpse of what's on this week and what's ahead.

Kolter & Friends: Day & Night Party

Doors at 1pm and it runs day into night. Kolter brings the swung, playful house that made his name in Cologne, with Cinthie, Janeret and Leo Pol (live) in support. Pace yourself.

11pm to 6am. Kölsch does melodic techno built for the big moment, and Room One is the right place for it. Ankhoï and Sef Kombo keep the other rooms moving.

The UK's high energy imprint takes its biggest showcase yet to Tottenham, from 5pm. Built on a crowd that has followed it club to club. Expect it loud and fast from the first hour.

The Crosstown Rebels boss back in Farringdon, 11pm to 6am. Mano Le Tough and Culoe De Song round out a deep, hypnotic bill. The late night alternative to Drumsheds.

The Martinez Brothers (6 Hour Set)

Six hours of The Martinez Brothers on a Sunday, 6pm to 2am. The Bronx duo at their best is a long set in a proper club, and this is exactly that.

Palms Trax, "Soft Trance, Hard Gossip"
(fabric Originals, vinyl out 2 October)
His first solo record in five years, and his debut on fabric's own label. Palms Trax spent that time DJing and running Cooking With Palms Trax, and it shows: an Italo swagger in the bassline, a flash of acid, and a melody that goes straight for the heart. Built for the last hour of the night.

Drumsheds sets out its autumn
The full AW26 season is out. Terminal V lands on 23 October, Don't Let Daddy Know makes its London debut on 9 October, and Armin van Buuren headlines the first indoor A State of Trance festival in the UK on 14 November. Plenty on sale now, so plan the next three months from here.

Unsound brings four days to London
The Kraków festival has announced its biggest London edition in over a decade, 25 to 28 November across Milton Court, the ICA, Ormside Projects and EartH. Space Afrika play their new album, and Anz closes the whole thing with a b2b alongside a British icon still to be named. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.
