Fabio & Grooverider have been jungle's reigning godfathers since Rage at Heaven in the early 90s, and this fabric session is a rare full-length outing together in Room One with MC GQ on the mic. Djinn, Diagnostix and dogger fill out the rest of the night. If you want a sense of what these two still do to a room, their Boiler Room session still gets passed around for a reason.
KOKO Electronic: Oliver Heldens

Oliver Heldens hit number one with 'Gecko (Overdrive)' back in 2014 and has spent the decade since building Heldeep Records and playing the biggest festival stages going. This is his KOKO debut, so expect the room at full capacity from the first drop.

The disco don lands at Phonox for a headline session built entirely on feel. Dimitri's sets move between shimmering disco edits and deep house without ever losing the groove, and decades in, he still plays like he's discovering the records for the first time.

fabric takes over The Bridge stage for Junction 2's tenth anniversary weekend, and this is the bill to build your Saturday around. Nina Kraviz b2b Jeff Mills is a genuinely rare pairing, Marcel Dettmann b2b DJ Hell brings the industrial weight, and The Woods stage runs Nicolas Lutz and Peach for anyone who wants to drift deeper into the trees. Kraviz's Boiler Room set from Berlin is still one of the most watched in the archive, and gives a decent preview of what Saturday afternoon could turn into.

The Cause turns its Docklands site into a festival for independent radio, with Refuge Worldwide, Keep Hush, Seoul Community Radio and Radio Alhara each hosting their own stage. Every set streams live via the venue's new platform, so the lineup, Kim Ann Foxman, L-Vis 1990, Tornado Wallace b2b Fantastic Man and Upsammy among them, is really just the entry point.

Sunday leans more melodic and ethereal than Saturday's industrial session, with Adam Beyer and Miss Monique both playing across the day. It's the tenth anniversary edition of the festival, so expect the production to match the occasion.

Four collectives take over a stage each at The Cause for a day built on Afro, Latin, Panjabi, SWANA and diaspora sound. Yung Singh headlines, backed by Moonshine, Coco Em and DJ Travella, in what might be the best version of London's diaspora club scene right now.

London's newest warehouse opens its doors with Jamie Jones building a night around his own history in the city, from the 2010s house sound that made his name to where he's heading next. Ironworks is a 7,000-capacity space in a former shipbuilding yard in the Royal Docks, from the team behind Printworks, and this is only a six-night opening season. Book early, this is the one everyone will be talking about come November.

Kolter — "Hey Everybody (Back In The Dance)"

Kolter has spent the last few years building a name as one of house music's most reliable hitmakers, and this one leans straight into feel-good, disco-sampling territory. It works at 4pm on a terrace and at 2am in a warehouse, which is probably why it landed on a major label the same week it dropped.

This one was doing the rounds in DJ sets months before its official release, with Reznik playing it out to big reactions in Paris. Samm blends warm, organic percussion with driving basslines and a hypnotic vocal, making it a genuine sunset-set weapon.

City Hall wins new power to overrule councils on licensing
Sadiq Khan has been granted new powers letting City Hall approve late-night venue licenses even when a local council pushes back, aimed squarely at boroughs like Westminster that have all but frozen new licenses in Soho's "cumulative impact zone." It won't fix everything overnight, but it's the first real structural change to how London decides which venues get to stay open past 11:30pm.

A new 7,000-capacity warehouse is opening in the Royal Docks. Ironworks lands in October from the team behind Printworks, taking over a former shipbuilding yard on the Thames with 150,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. The opening run is deliberately tiny, just six nights through November, with Jamie Jones, Eric Prydz, CamelPhat and Charlotte de Witte already locked in. After a year that's seen dozens of grassroots venues close, this is one of the rare bits of good news for London's big rooms.
