Palms Trax's first solo material in five years lands on fabric's own imprint, and it was worth the wait. Bold basslines, ear-tingling acid lines and hopeful synth melodies, measured enough to sit back on but punchy enough to earn its place in a festival set. The lead single from his Keys To A Printed Garden EP, out the same day this issue lands.

Provisional Met Office figures put the UK's mean summer temperature ahead of last year's record, with only an average rest of August needed to confirm it. Last week already delivered the hottest day of the year. Good excuse to book the day parties while they last.
