THE BOOTH
GUDFELLA, Jitwam – Morning Coffee
Laid-back but detailed. This one sits between house, soul and lo-fi textures. Jitwam’s vocal style keeps it loose and human while GUDFELLA builds a groove that feels like early hours or slow starts.
EDITORIAL
We had the pleasure of working with Club Culture to produce The Top London Clubs Guide using a mix of reviews and top-rated venues by you all. We’re excited for who came out ontop.
The Barbican is now one of London's best late-night party venues. Following a sold-out launch with Eastern Margins, the full anyone can dance series is confirmed: Love in the Endz (2 May), DAYTIMERS (12 September), and Beirut Groove Collective (7 November), all running 11PM to 3AM in the Level–1 foyer. DAYTIMERS and Love in the Endz in the same series is a statement. The scene is doing something here that clubs and festivals cannot.
Junction 2 just dropped the most important London festival lineup of the summer. J2 X returns to Boston Manor Park in July and August. Saturday 25th July is a fabric collab headlined by Nina Kraviz and Jeff Mills, with Marcel Dettmann b2b DJ Hell. Adam Beyer takes Sunday, I Hate Models and Charlie Sparks close it out on 2nd August. Ten years under the M4 flyover. Still no one doing it like them.
